LED Lighting Taiwan 2008
- The 4th Int'l LED Lighting Exposition

LEDs, which are environment-friendly, power-saving and long-lasting, have caused a revolution in illumination in the 21st. century. LEDs are a kind of compound semiconductors using III-V( GaAs, AlGaInP, Gan, AlN…) or II-VI(ZnSe,ZnO…) as light emitting materials. The emitted light can be visible, ultraviolet and infrared, with the advantages of: small size, low power consumption, long-lasting, and color purity. Due to the various advantages, technological breakthroughs and cost reductions, LEDs have been applied quickly in many applications.

The 4th edition of LED Lighting Taiwan, featuring a rapidly growing segment of Taiwan’s optoelectronic industry: LEDs for various conceivable purposes, including indoor, outdoor, specialty and technological uses, will be held concurrently with OPTO Taiwan, Optics Taiwan, Solar Taiwan and Display Taiwan.
